What is Young Life?

Young Life is an interdenominational Christian ministry for adolescents that has reached over 100 countries. It has been in the Northland of Kansas City for 70 Years and owns 20+ camping properties across the US. Read more about Young Life here. Before starting, Cor Brad, Haley, and Josh were all previously involved in Young Life locally. Brad served as the Area Director for 20+ years.

Why go to Young Life camp in California?

One of our values in Cor is Experiences. We desire that the men of Cor have experiences that prepare them for their next stage of life. Learning to travel is part of the adventure of life. For many Cor guys, it’s their first experience flying on a plane. For others, it’s their first experience traveling more than one state away. Learning how to navigate airline travel, traveling with others, and possibly learning what it’s like to travel away to college are essential experiences. We also want Cor graduates to have a broader network of relationships as they enter adulthood. This trip is strategically planned with La Canada Young Life, where Brad is close friends with their head football coach, the regional director of Young Life in Los Angeles. Several football players from La Canada will be on the trip, and we hope to connect our guys with their guys.

What will this cost?

The camp cost is up to you. Cor is an official 501 (c) 3, and we have raised funding to ensure that no Cor participant is left behind. We will make travel reservations and report the full cost per camper as soon as we have commitments. The base cost without travel is $647.
